Link-Central is a series of creative projects taking place in schools across the Aston, Newtown, and Lozells areas. These projects are designed to empower young people to contribute towards local regeneration proposals.

Birmingham City Council in partnership with Urban Living is working on plans to improve housing and life opportunities for everyone who lives here in Aston, Lozells, and Newtown, both now and in the future.

Before making big decisions about our future, we need to look at what we already have, who we are, and what makes a good place to live – and find out what you like about your area and what you want to change.

We are developing new exciting ways to involve the community in making decisions about the future, including bringing in community artists to work with young people to explore the heritage and diversity of the area and open the door to involving young people in shaping the future.
