Dan Burwood /Glenn Anderson

I am an experienced photographer, teacher, and community artist, interested in the value of the arts, and of photographic language in particular, within regeneraton, and the creation of progressive and sustainable communities. I have conceived and managed several community arts projects, and have extensive experience working with young people in a variety of contexts. I believe in an experimental approach, which is ambitious but leaves as little as possible to chance. I hold that participation and shared ownership of art creation need not dilute its value. Above all, I make beautiful photographs with, for, and of people, which can mean good things in many lasting ways.
